Get Into Rugby

It's a super fun and social program for people of all ages.

The program runs for 4-8 weeks at selected clubs right around the country and costs around $45 per person.

Each session runs for approximately one hour each week and is packed with drills that will test your skills.

You can learn the non-contact format of rugby or learn how to play 7s or 15s.

It’s also great for those looking to switch formats, keep fit or make a bunch of new mates.

After the training wraps up there's plenty of fun to be had off the field with music pumping and social barbecues.

Before each term kicks off, schools can apply for funding through Sporting Schools and select one of our three programs; Get into Rugby, Foxtel Touch 7s or Deadly 7s.

Each one is a fun five-week program perfect for the outdoors.

It’s a 40-60 minute session which can be run before, during or after school.

Our school rugby programs teach students how to be quick on their toes and work well with others.

Teachers can also request a Rugby Australia accredited development officer or coach to help run a program.

Sporting Schools

Rugby Australia is a Sporting Schools partner.

This partnership allows us to introduce Rugby to thousands of children across the country.

We’re thrilled to be able to teach students new skills as well as keep them active and healthy.

We also connect schools with clubs right around the country to give students the opportunity to continue their rugby journey.
